I can confirm that I do, indeed struggle…and even more so now I’m peri-menopausal. Sometimes, I actually think I was born peri-menopausal… 🤔🤣 Today, is no exception. This morning, I continued with my lizard embroidery. I got partway round leg number 4, threaded the needle with the final length of turquoise…picked up the hoop…and proceeded to stitch…not realising I was now working on leg number 3… 😱 I couldn’t fully unpick it because it got snagged. Fortunately, I had enough thread to finish leg 4 but 3 now has a bit more turquoise on it. I was hoping to keep them all even, knowing the turquoise would run out before I could finish. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m sure I’ll figure something out, I’m sure. Lee said that he’d received a call from the first roofer we had a quote on. He’s only a week late ringing to give us the information he said he’d provide… 🙄 Lee is a lot more generous than me and didn’t mention the discrepancy in timing in case we have to go with him. To be honest, if he can’t ring when he says he will, is he going to fit the roof when he says?! Does anyone else find that flea-ing their cat is a nightmare? Lee said he was ready whenever I was but Letty wasn’t in a good position. I told him to start getting her food ready. She jumped on the table so I told him I was ready. I grabbed her, Lee came in and tried to apply the solution and couldn’t because he’s been breaking up pieces of chicken for her tea. He’d had ample time to wipe his fingers before I got hold of her. 🤦🏻‍♀️ So, yes, I’m struggling with frustration today…but: 🔅 I got to learn something new at work 🔅 I went to great lengths to help someone in a different department 🔅 I dodged the rain when I went to the post office 🔅 I managed to do yoga (despite not really wanting to) 🔅 Lee spotted that the accidentally-vegan dark chocolate was back in Lidl 🔅 Letty snuggles despite us trying to flea her
