Feeling very grateful for a fabulously memorable day . . . It is my mum's 76th birthday, for the past few months she's been really unwell with pneumonia and a collapsed lung today she was well enough to come to our Friendship Group. The first time she's been out since being in hospital and on bed-rest. At group one of our ladies taught us some basic British Sign Language (BSL) we split into two groups, each group had a member who pretended to be deaf, and the rest of the group had to build a bridge inclusive with the deaf person. That was so much fun. Late afternoon a cup of peppermint tea and a book in the garden. Priceless 😍 3sb 🪷⏳👃🏽🫁👄⏳🪷
