Jump Back Up July Day 2: I really love the power of “I can’t…yet”. Everyone is a beginner at some point and things can feel difficult at the start. But, as time goes by, you suddenly become more confident and, one day, you become an ‘expert’. I have certainly experienced this over, and over, in my life. It’s not to say that we won’t be anxious about being the ‘beginner’ but, one thing is certain, if we are willing to practice, we will improve. Today, I was the ‘beginner’ in the world of WhatsApp chat (not the same, I know, but still). I’ve used FaceTime a few times now (but only with Lee), and even taken part in group Zoom chats but I have never had a one-on-one, face-to-face chat with someone I have never met. I don’t even like making phone calls so this was quite a big step. To say I was anxious is an understatement…but…it was amazingly glorious. I chatted with @katylouise for almost an hour and I think it’s safe to say that we both enjoyed each other’s company. ☺️ For me, it has gone from “I can’t…yet” to “I can’t wait for the next chat”. I was giddy with relief afterwards and still am feeling super pleased with myself. 😁 The unrelated pictures are of Letty, snuggling me. Nothing unusual in that…I’m just not sure why her tail is going along her back like that. Such an unnatural direction for it to take. 😆
