Hi! It’s time for me to join in my local action for happiness group tomorrow. It’s always full of great ideas for ways to take action to be happier and kinder together and its a great way to connect with people. I think most groups are run on zoom at the moment, they are for 90 minutes, once a month and are free. I always feel a lot more optimistic and relaxed after attending and it’s a good way of practicing really listening to others and also a chance to share any actions that I have been trying too. We are stronger together and it’s a fun way to meet new people too as well as see some familiar faces from previous sessions. The link has a search tool to find out if there is a session near you, it’s also in the main menu. I checked with @Joshua French at action for happiness and while ideally people should join a local group when possible, if there is not one close and the sessions are online they can be joined from further afield. it’s also possible to train as a volunteer and set your own up in your area too, the info is on the action for happiness website.
