Today was our last full day in Helsinki and, as ever, I’m glad to be going home. This holiday has been a mixed bag, for sure, and certain situations have spoiled it and led to my mood going on a bit of a rollercoaster ride. Neither of us has enjoyed it as much as we thought we would which is a shame because we were very excited beforehand. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Today was grey and wet so we bought 1-day tram tickets and visited the Winter Garden and the Botanical Garden. Both had some lovely plants but, strangely, I thought the much smaller Winter Garden was far superior to the Botanical Garden…and it was free entry.
