Today’s good 💕 ❤️ I’ll admit, I’m not always very good at remembering to do this daily but I try and that’s a win. ❤️ I started exercising yesterday for the first time in years. The exercise was only 6 minutes long and to be honest, that’s all my body could do and all my brain had the attention for. I went ahead and did today’s workout and that was only 4 minutes long. Perfect for ADHD and kept boredom at bay. 😊 ❤️ I had a huge plan for yesterday and today for achieving things but nope, I tend to over plan and overthink my immediate capabilities. That’s okay. I did the important stuff like paying bills and making dinner. ❤️ I became very bored last night and found myself going to the kitchen. Evidently I eat when bored because I want a new texture to stimulate/distract my brain. I realized this and decided not to eat. I’m also planning on making snack stations in our kitchen. There will be a boredom snack box with dried fruit and kale chips. Neither one of us likes kale but if we’re bored eating, the kale should help us recognize the mechanism. I think I might attach notes to the snacks too that encourage us to do an activity instead of eating. ❤️ My first fidget toys came today and I am already loving them! They’re very calming and I can focus better with them. Definitely a mindfulness tool 🥰 Have a wonderful day! 🌻
