I suffer from OCD, Anxiety and Depression. Some days are harder than others. When I start to feel overwhelmed or when my symptoms are more prevalent....I try to take some time sitting outside or going for a walk. I've found that nature can be the most healing therapy. It brings me back in the present moment. It helps me to slow down my thoughts and reminds me that these feelings don't have to engulf me. I can find solitude and clarity through watching nature; the breeze, the trees, the grass, the smell of fresh air. Nature is truly a helpful tool to bring me back to center. So if your struggling, remember you're not the only one and take time to be outside. Take your shoes off and let your feet feel the grass. There is so much to be grateful for, even in our darker times: this too shall pass. I hope everyone has a wonderful day and if able, go outside!
