Reflecting on my day with a focus on the good🙌 ❤️I took my sweet time getting ready for work this morning and didn't start until 9am - we love flexibility with working hours😁 ❤️Someone booked in a work meeting with me and behaved frustratingly in it, projecting a lot of their stress onto me. That said, while I don't like it when people do that, I can very much understand why they are stressed and I am keen to support wherever I can! I handled the conversation well, and I'm going to try to continue to be a calming presence moving forward ❤️Plus, I feel very lucky to have such a supportive manager who has my back - this situation would be a lot more stressful for me if I didn't! ❤️I am really pleased that I didn't get myself worked up about it during my work day and instead focused on solutions and the other tasks on my to-do list. ❤️I've been inside my head about it this evening, but I'm noting now that I have done as much thinking about this as is helpful, and so if thoughts about it appear again, that's okay, but I'm going to gently park them. I want to enjoy the long weekend I have ahead! ❤️Everyone wore yellow to our end of week wrap up in honour of mental health awareness week and it meant a lot to me (plus I love yellow haha, it's my favourite colour)💛 ❤️This evening I have been reading - I think I will finish my book this evening! I'm also eating my tea, and I'm really proud of that because my brain spiralling can make eating tricky sometimes! ❤️Afterwards, unless I'm too tired to, I'll tidy my room and get to sleep😴
