Meaningful May Day 17: Wednesdays are my non-working day. I tend to do housework in the morning and spend time with my dad in the afternoon. I do lots of practical things for him, like making note of his shopping list, seeing if he needs anything else buying, arranging appointments, requesting his repeat prescriptions etc…but, mainly, we just spend time together, having a good natter and a laugh. It doesn’t get more meaningful than that. ☺️ The photos are of some flowers I spotted on an alternate route to dad’s and my final Tesco dark chocolate digestive. They never seem to have them in stock nowadays. I really savoured this one as I don’t know when I’ll get another. 😋
