Waking up this morning after the election in the UK yesterday, I wrote this poem and hope it will help people to not give up on kindness and love. Friday the 13th The last full moon of the decade, heart full of hope for a miracle only to wake up in the morning, Friday the 13th, that this was all in vain. Unbelievable the results of the election. Who are those people? Do they have children, elderly people, pets, friends they care for? Do they not want homeless people to have a home? Do they not want children to have a good education and live in peace and harmony? Do they not want animals to have rights and be cared for? Do they not want elderly people to have a dignified life? Do they not want people in hospitals and at the doctor’s to be treated in the best possible way? Do they not want to unite people of all classes and backgrounds to become one strong and peaceful country full of laughter and share joy and look after each other? Do they not want a leader, who is passionate and integer? Do they not want the read beyond the headlines of the media? Do they not want to start using their own minds to think critically and look inside their hearts for answers? As if they are terrified of giving truth a chance. As if they are terrified of admitting that change needs to happen. As if they are terrified of seeing that waking up is a necessity. As if they are terrified of being part of something new and great. You can cry and despair of the people out there, who for me are the anonymous, scared and blinded mass as I know no-one of this group. But that helps nobody in the end. No, we have to fight back, not in terms of weapons, hate, threats, lies and media as these are all the used ways and means this mess happened in the first place. How about we stand up for ourselves, our believes and not let this make us sad, defeat us, but only make us stronger and more compassionate. How about we embrace those people and send them our love and goodwill as they clearly don’t love and respect no-one including themselves. How about we start and continue being nice to ourselves and others and see all human beings with the eyes of compassion. Dividing now and talking of “them” and “us” only feeds the black and white thinking culture and doesn’t turn the clock backwards and change the outcome. Creating a better tomorrow, we can start today by simply accepting, breathing in, letting go and smiling to the next person, who crosses our path, without any hard feelings or anger, but with love and joy. As these are the emotions of happiness, these are the emotions of higher vibration. Getting into that state of high and positive energy is the only way forward by changing ourselves for changing the world of tomorrow.
