In these troubling times, where the news is filled with Brexit, mass murder and mayhem, it’s easy to find ourselves slipping down a rabbit hole of worry. Our minds fly out to the future, trying to protect ourselves by predicting what might just happen. Create balance by being aware of now. Where are you now? Where is your body? Which of your muscles are tense? How is your breathing? Feel the moment and release those muscles. Breathe slowly and calmly. Perhaps close your eyes and notice that you are safe. Right now, right here you are safe. In your day - be kind. In your day - notice the kindness of others. Perhaps take time to reflect and note down the moments of light in your day... a smile, birdsong, a connection with a stranger or a close friend. Life is not all doom and gloom, even though it can sometimes feel that way. Take care of yourself and those around you💜
